After two of the three characters where revealed by way of datamine everyone was pretty sure Empolion was next. Turns out we’ve all been had.
Instead of the giant Napolion ice-penguin we get this wacky toxic toad. What’s interesting about him is that he is an assist in the game, so that opens up a lot more oppertunies for other characters. As for the purple toad himself. He looks fun. His size combined with his wacky antics make him look like a blast to play with. I just hope he comes to the Wii U version.

Initially I was kinda pissed at why they d put Croagunk when Toxicroak would have been badass, but after watching the trailer and seeing how he s a total troll it s actually pretty awesome.
Yeah I thought he was going to be okay but it turned out I liked him a lot more.
