Welcome to our review of Farming Simulator Kids, which is basically a game without a tutorial and a waste of time.
Upon starting the game, things already take a turn for the worst, with just a screen showing the aspects of the farm you will be maintaining. Don’t ask me how though, this entire game is basically broken beyond playability with the absence of any type of tutorial. Especially when a game is supposed to be oriented towards kids, see the title of the game, it is right there.
But you just get some places marked on your farm map and good luck. Well, no. I do not want games like these to even exist and yes, this is an absolute example of games to avoid. Avoid like the fricking plague. There are no good words from me, straight from the start, before even starting the game, I found out this is only playable by touchscreen, which is another downside.
Just release your game with a Joy-Con interface or whatever, but it just shows the lack of love for the art of making a fun game. While I was bothering with figuring out if it had controller enabled or not, I already got annoyed by the soundtrack too. Sadly this is no April Fools joke, the game is really that awful.
The worst part probably is how their advertising almost shows a completely different game, like how the fuck am I even supposed to do any of those things shown in the trailer? After my first quarter hour into the game, I had barely figured out I was probably supposed to start growing crops or so. I still don’t know and that is why I decided to write this VERY negative review, a game not even deserving the name game.
If anything, this is just a waste of time and money. Misleading trailer, crappy game mechanics, and for the love of gaming, give me a fucking tutorial when you make games like these. I really feel like I would have been scammed if I had not gotten the review code for this game.
It is really that bad.
I am refusing to give this game a score because even a 0 out of 10 would feel like I am giving too high a score. No pics in this review for this exact same reason, I just hate titles like these with a passion and that passion is burning hard right now.
