He wields these souls by the thousand yet he has no heart.
The soul sorcerer has been confirmed after some clear tease from Ed Boon.
Ermac has three variations (like everyone else) and these are
Spectral: Gains the ability to fly and unique attacks from the air.
The spectral variation is recognised by the glowing orb in his chest.
While this Ermac loses his super float thingy, he gets the ability to fly around the stage like a big dumb idiot and he can’t block.
This gives Ermac way more mobility
Mystic: Gains telekinetic abilities Tele-Lift and Tele-Push.
The Mystic variety has green glowy hands which give him more telekinetic abilities like a force-like push as a keep away move.
Another moves traps the opponent in mid-air for super easy set-ups to combo and juggle of.
Master of souls: Gains Soul Ball and the ability to vanish to avoid damage.
With this variation Ermac will have three souls floating around him which will determine the strength of his projectiles, for instance three souls around Ermac will give hiss Soul Ball a stun ability.
He also has a vanish ability that make him disappear to avoid damage for a rather long time.
The team also showed of a new stage called The Destroyed City.
It’s a destroyed city(Duh) with a plane crashed and a bunch of wrecked cars to interact with.
You can take car parts and hit the opponent with it or jump of cars.
And if that’s not enough you can hit your enemy with a stop-light or throw a big engine at them.
I love the guy in the back of the stage shooting at rabid dogs until one jumps on his back attack him and drag him away.
The crew also answer a few questions in their live stream like: there will be more story details soon, we have already seen some alternate costumes which means some characters we see are not in their defaults and lastly there will be a new -ality shown within the next month or so.
So now that Ermac is in I just want Noob in and them I’m gonna WOW out, but I think he won’t be in since there would be more new characters and the full roster is about 24.
I think now we have to wait for a bunch of new characters.
