After a long wait the Virtual Console is getting N64 and DS games.
The first games for the DS are Mario Kart DS and WarioWare Touched! Both will $9.99. For the Ds games you can choose settings on how the games will be displayed. You can choose to display the top screen on the tv only or both on the pad. However you can’t play online or local multiplayer.
As for the N64 you can download Super Mario 64 and Donkey Kong 64, the latter one is releasing for the first time on the Virtual Console. You can also select the control types. All the games that support the rumble pack on the original 64 will make the Wii U pad rumble. You can transport games from your Wii just like Snes and Nes games for $1.99. You can also take screenshots and play off-screen.
The next games in line are Paper Mario and Yoshi’s island DS in May and as for the Wii Virtual Console, the next games are Pandora’s Tower April 16th and Sin And Punishment Sucsessor Of The Skies April 30th and will both be $19.99.
