The time has come for a new Nintendo Direct presentation. The place where lots of new games and features are announced. You can follow the stream below!
– The presentation starts with Lego Iwata announcing the Nintendo Direct Europe presentation.
– A video of LEGO City: Undercover is shown, a game about an undercover cop that has to solve a case. You have different uniforms. LEGO City: Undercover will be available for Wii U in 2013.
– Iwata shows a LEGO toy box, which includes a code to unlock a special mission in the game.
– A video is show of Sonic: All Stars Racing Transformed. The environment can change, cars can change, lots of new weapons, 4-player splitscreen with the Wii U. Cars change into planes, boats, … Game created in cooperation with Disney. Game out now, only for Wii U.
– We can see some more video’s of games that are also already available for Wii U. We see Mass Effect 3 and Fifa 13.
– It’s now time to focus on games that are expected in the near future. We now see a video of Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge. It’s an actiongame, which is very difficult and very exciting. The Wii U GamePad is used for multiple functions during the game, but you can also play only on the GamePad. There’s also online gameplay. Game launches on Wii U on February 11th.
– Scriblenauts Unlimited, a new game, for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. You can add characters and items from Nintendo History, like a Triforce, Link, … “You can create anything you like, the only limit is your imagination.”
– Iwata shows what he was up to this weekend. He’s playing with the Wii U with his dog and sings a song on it. Also, Carly Rae Jepsen is in the video. A new game to sing will be on Wii U.
– MiiVerse, the world of Wii U.
– News about the Wii U system update, which include the MiiVerse, Nintendo eShop, … The update can take over an hour!
– Nintendo eShop is shown, you can download lots of games, like Zen Pinball, with leaderboards. You can also download Little Inferno, a game with fire. Another game is Chasing Aurora, a racing game for multiple player.
– Pikmin 3 on Wii U. We see a gameplay video, and a video of the game at the latest phase of development. The game looks amazing, because of the HD-graphics on Wii U. The game has been long expected, since the announcement at E3 this year. Launches Q2 2013
– Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. The Wii U version will feature 1080p graphics. We see a gameplay video, which shows us amazing creatures and spectacular fights. 3000 new weapons, 30 new monster armors.
– Wii U panorama view, allows you to view certain locations in 360 degrees, like a ride in a tourist bus in London and riding in a riksja in Kyoto.
– Google Maps is shown. Nintendo also shows Street view, but then on the GamePad. You can move the GamePad in the direction you want to look and the images change.
– Animal Crossing for Nintendo 3DS is already out in Japan and has proven to be a really good game. They are still working on the European version. Q2 2013.
– Paper mario sticker book for the first 10.000 users of Club Nintendo. Paper Mario is out already.
– Super Mario Bros. 2: third level pack available after the presentation. Video of the course pack, which shows the difficulty of the game.
– Mario needs a break, but 2013 will be the year of Luigi. The first game for 3DS is Luigi’s Mansion 2 available march 2013. The game uses 3D functions for extensive gameplay.
– dr. Kawashima’s Develish Brain Training. The game focusses on concentration. Lots of very challenging concentration exercices.
– Castlevania Lords of Shadows: Mirror of Faith. Belmont looks for the killer of his mother, who died by the hand of his father, who is now Dracula.

– HarmoKnight: 59 levels including mario levels, where you have to complete a melody.
– Picross e2 (Available from eShop in January)
– Tokyo Crash Mobs (Available from eShop on January 18th)
– Hydroventure SpinCycle (Available from eShop on December 13th)

– Fire Emblem: Awakening, the player can command warriors on the battlefield, and each one of them has their own personality. Many new features. Downloading characters and maps available. characters from previous games will return. (Available April 2013)
