Nintendo Power, the official Nintendo magazine, used to have all sorts of interesting contests. One of the most popular contests ever was to win the appearance of your name in a Link to the Past. Chris Houlihan was the winner and his name will always remain very well hidden in a Link to the Past.
You had to break the game if you wished to enter this secret room. Inside you would find a little sign that said:
“My name is Chris Houlihan. This is my top secret room. Keep it between us, okay?”
