Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will no longer have a PC-version.
The Free-to-Play-Game Ghost Recon Online will serve as a replacement, says producer of the last named game, Sebastien Arnoult, in an interview with PC Gamer.
“When we started with Ghost Recon Online, we thought about a direct transfer of Future Soldier to PC without a complicated developmentproces. This is because we are aware of the fact that 95% of our customers in the PC-market download the game illegally. That’s what’s stopping us from creating a PC-version of GR: Future Soldier.”
“We are giving away most of the content for free. To the people who are downloading the game on Pirate Bay, we say: ‘Go ahaid. This is what you are asking for. We have listened. It’s easy to download the game and there is no DRM that’s spoiling the experience.”
