Review: My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure

Welcome to our review of My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure, a game that is so well catered for younger kids, it deserves an award for being outstandingly great!

Bring magic back to Equestria and play with the new generation of MY LITTLE PONY characters, in an adventure full of fun, fashion and good friends. Earth Pony Sunny wants to make the world a better place by hosting Maretime Bay Day, a forgotten celebration of friendship and magic. But some pony is out to spoil the celebration – and they’re stealing cakes, letting bunnies loose, and even spoiling Pipp’s paintings!

Only you can help Sunny throw the most magical celebration Equestria has ever seen. Use your magic to put on fashion shows, find the cutest animals, fly with the Pegasi and more. Customize your ponies by unlocking new skills and accessories, including new hats and jewelry, rollerblades, and fashion magic.

Your friends Hitch, Izzy, Zipp and Pipp are here to lend a helping hoof every step of the way. And you can invite another player for multiplayer minigames! The ponies need you to make Maretime Bay Day unforgettable – can you find the mysterious party pooper and bring back the magic?

My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure is the newest game from Outright games, known for their great line of children’s games that are both easy to learn and smooth to play. I always look forward to their newest games, even though I am clearly not their target audience. I just love playing these very relaxing games where you mostly just sit back and absorb the story while collecting the items of choice.

In this game, you are the bright and cheery Sunny, a delight as a character, and very lovable at that. She is your hero in this lovable story and you control her in order to solve mysteries, you help her find things so you can advance in the story and you learn the lay of the magic land that you live in.

As this is a kids’ game, it is very easy with no kills or game overs, no sir, this is about as E (Everyone) as can get. You can choose to become the ultimate collector or just breeze through the game. Small tip for when your kid (or you, we do not judge anyone on GamingBoulevard haha) are playing and you do not know what way to head? Just wait and your beloved butterfly friend will show you the way. I am not even ashamed to admit I truly liked this aspect of the game, I used it more than once even.

Now, it is very difficult to rate a children’s game as an adult, I have done so for some of the Paw Patrol games, but they do not compare to My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure. This is just a so much better game and I even gave one of the Paw Patrol games an 8/10. Let us just say that that should say it all, now get this game for your youngest and watch them enjoy the game, the minigames and so much more!
