After Konami cancelled the upcoming Silent Hills by Kojima and del Toro, things weren’t looking good.
Now that things are calming down however, they said to plan something new in the future.
This news was shared during an interview with del Toro and IGN:
“We are still friends and working into doing something together, but that’s not going to be [Silent Hills],” he said.
While the cancelled project the duo were working on was still “in the planning stages,” del Toro said the goal was to “really push the boundaries” consoles, and create “a game that really messes with your head.”
He refers at Phycho Mantis, the Metal Gear enemy that messed with players heads. When or if we’re going to see this project isn’t sure yet.
