A lot of babies were made in the 25 years of mortal kombating.
Netherreal released a trailer showing the story of Mortal Kombat X and a million and one new characters were shown and teased.
Let’s check out the trailer first:
So let’s get into the nitty-gritty and look at the characters shown:
First there is Takashi Takeda:
He is the son of Kenshi and seems to be scorpions apprentice. In the trailer you see him use a spear-like weapon and interact in a somewhat friendly way with scorpion (as far as friendly can be in Mortal Kombat). I am sceptical that Kenshi will return but I hope we’ll see him again.
Ok next is Jacqueline Briggs:
I wonder who she’s related to. Well in case you couldn’t figure it out she is the daughter of Jax. She seems to use the same kind of weapons Jax used to use before the accident but with what seems like flamethrower.
And here is Kung Jin:
He is described as a descendant of Kung Lao. His main weapon is a bow so I imagine he plays a lot like green arrow.
And together with Cassie Cage they form what I presume is the Special Forces.(I hope they will do some kind of big dumb Ginyu Force pose).
The next few characters are show but not mentioned:
Here we go probably the coolest character in MKX Erron Black:
He already appeared in the comics but now he is at least confirmed in the game and most likely playable.
But damn he look awesome he’s a cowboy who is together with Ermac and D’vorah one of Kotal Kahn’s warriors.
I don’t really care about the rest if the stranger of Oddworld is playable
Next is one everyone wanted to see Mileena:
Damn she looks cool, and way more respectable than in MK9. It seems Mileena is building an army to kill Kotal Khan and claim her what she claims rightful place on the throne of Outworld.
Staying true to his ninja roots Rain appeared in the trailer twice very briefly:
When Khan hits Mileena you kan see rain standing next to Mileena suggesting he is allied with Mileena in some way. And while it’s not sure if he’s playable after that kick he did to Khan you know he’ll sure as hell would want revenge so I’m gonna say he’s playable.
Then there is this woman:
While I don’t think we’ll see her playable people seem to think she’s related to Liu Kang.
Also there was Shinok(yay):
Also I noticed that while Raiden was traping Shinnok in the medalion there was a guy next to him that looked abit like Johnny Cage:
The next two are hard to figure out but we know they are let’s say Violent Kitana and Shin Sindel:
While we know Kitana is playable for some reason I feel like Sindel will not be just because it uses her old costume or even model. Well at least we got to see a Kitana alt.
