The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is also another game from the kind folks at Outright Games and it should be said, they create some of the best children-oriented games out there. I have had more than decent fun as an adult with many of the games that came my way and The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is no exception, but this one has the dreaded but.

The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is a game that is relatively easy to play, you just need to keep your wits about and it will not be overly hard for the youngest among us, if you get used to the weapons in the game that is. Not to complain, really not my intention, but the sword often misses its target if you are not button mashing and even an experienced player as myself often fell victim to wrongly timed button presses so I ended up mashing that button when an enemy was near.

Nothing you can not bear, if not for the aforementioned BUT. My biggest problem with this game resides in the design of the game. I simply love it and that is despite its often bare levels, my favorite Pugsley just does the thing he does best and most other characters really got their love as well… Well, aside from Morticia….

I have to say that she should have been a thicker character, having played it on a massive 4K OLED TV and glorious 4K thanks to the Series X, but that character is so damn skinny. I truly had issues seeing her when things got heated and if anything, would love to see this slightly edited to make her more playable.

In conclusion, The Addams Family Mansion Mayhem is exactly what you’d expect of a game oriented at kids, and based upon a franchise, it delivers in many ways, but it never excelled.
