Summer Game Fest: Kickoff Live just aired and marked the start of a Summer filled with gaming. It was a show packed with announcements and world premieres. In this article, I’ll discuss my personal top 3 reveals. Let’s jump in!
3) Evil Dead: The Game
This one was first revealed last year but the gameplay looks extremely impressive! You can team up with your friends to step into the shoes of famous Evil Dead characters and take on evil together. It’s filled with iconic weapons, enemies, and tons of blood. You don’t like that? Well, you can also play as evil. Check it out:
2) Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was rumored to make an appearance today and the show didn’t disappoint. As a show opener, this game really caught my eye. Published by 2K Games and created by Gearbox, this Borderlands spin-off is looking like a crazy amount of fun! In the game, you’re able to create your own hero and try to defeat the Dragon Lord. To make it a bit more fun, Tiny Tina created the world you’re playing in and will constantly change the rules of her world. It’s not a Borderlands game but a completely new interpretation of the looter shooter set in the infamous world of the successful franchise.
1) Elden Ring
The one I was hoping for but didn’t know would make it on the show was the final game to be revealed: Elden Ring! It has that typical Souls atmosphere we all know and love and it looks like From Software Games really went all-out in this one. From the gorgeous environments to enemies resembling the epic moments of Shadow of the Colossus… It’s all there and even more. Prepare for one of the best trailer in months:
