Radical Rabbit Stew is a rather fun game, limited in its variety but fun nevertheless. I experienced this game as a decent game that once I mastered its mechanics provided more fun than I anticipated.
The idea is simple, you knock the rabbits into the stew with your spoon. While that does not sound very appealing, Radical Rabbit Stew is made in such a way that it becomes a high paced game as you go. Bounce pads, water that slows you down, … There is some variety but not a lot.
For me personally, I felt the game is easy to access, I just played it when I had some time free, it boots up so quickly. I once just booted it up, played 2 levels, and then moved to another game. This is its biggest power. I doubt this game will ever be removed from my switch when I need more space because I can just jump in and straight out whenever I feel like it.
Graphically, it takes a little while to really get used to the way the game is designed, especially how you whack your spoon… In the beginning, this was actually more an annoyance that I did not always hit the rabbits in the right direction. Sure, the levels restart pretty much instantly, just a minor annoyance though.
In conclusion, Radical Rabbit Stew is great for short bursts of play and even the boss fights get you challenged maybe a little more than regular levels. All in all, I had a fun time playing this game and I do recommend it for anyone in search of a fun game.
