At the end of PSX Sony revealed that a The Last Of Us sequel is indeed in development. It even has a trailer.
We don’t know much about the game but going of this trailer it seems that both Joel and Ellie are back and Ellie is a lot older. She seems upset about something and swears to kill everyone. I’m presuming she’s talking about the firefly faction which you can see their logo of in the beginning. It also seems like Ellie will be the main playable character this time around. Either way I’m excited for the game.
