Life on Tiny Planet was calm and carefree until a great disaster occurred – Tiny Planet was hit by a meteor! The world fell apart and now its future depends only on you! Use your imagination and creativity: in order to restore Tiny Planet and help its inhabitants, you will have to fix a variety of machines and mechanisms as well as solve puzzles in each of the five chapters of this game. Navigation is simple and intuitive. It doesn’t distract you from the witty brain teasers, and you will be able to fully immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the game.

There is no text in this game. It is fun for all ages and suitable for the whole family!

The Tiny Bang Story is a point and click game. There, my review is done. A tried and tested game genre and what more can be said about it? Nothing and everything at the same time. The Nintendo Switch is already home to several great point and click games and now with the arrival of The Tiny Bang Story, another one joins the collection.

Does The Tiny Bang Story set itself apart? Yes and no. In all honesty, it is yet another pea in the pod, but a smart one at that. It does not reinvent the hot water but it sure brings some heavy thinking to the player. It took me around 1 hour just to finish the first “chapter” and I will save you the time I spent on the next four chapters…. The searching is on the tougher side of the spectrum but these games live on their difficulty in my humble opinion and that is the one place where The Tiny Bang Story does set itself apart. It is harder than average without being impossible enough that you need to find an online guide to help you out.

I had one point in my gameplay where I was missing a puzzle piece. I found it after around 10 minutes of searching through all the screens that were available to me. The piece was hidden in plain sight, right there on top of a tree, but in the colors of the tree. Sneaky as F, but so darn smart. It took me more time than I wanted at the time, but the joy of finally figuring it out, kind of indescribable.

In conclusion, it takes a while to really find some items in this game, but its intuitive nature will guide you through most of the harder parts of the game. If you enjoy puzzle games and point’n’click games, this might be the one for you though!
