NEWS: Capcom announces epic ‘Remember Me’

Developer Capcom has just announced a new game which they made in cooperation with Dontnod. The game is called Remember Me.

The game was also leaked at GC 2011, but now, at Gamescom 2012, Capcom has officially presented it. Remember me is a game that focuses on a unique subject: memories. They can be bought and sold, but can also be traded with on the black market…

The people on the world are all implanted with Sensation Engines that capture memories which can be traded or exchanged. The company that manufactures the Sensation Engines is Memoryeyes. The Errorists are a group of rebels fighting against Memoreyes. The main character, Nilin, has a special ability to access memories at will, and change them the way she wants to. She can also hack doors from a distance or unlock bared doors in an instant using her Sensation Engine.

The game looks epic! It’s sort of a mix between Uncharted and Deus Ex, or maybe even Syndicate…

Dontnod is a new studio with a mix of ex-Criterion, Ubisoft and EA staff.

Remember Me launched May 2013 on PS3 and Xbox 360! Watch the trailer below!
