Welcome to the Party, welcome to the game called Conga Master Party! It’s a Blast!
The premise of this game is simple, shake your booty to the beat and form that Conga line in the club!

The controls are equally simple, move your dancer left or right by using the shoulder buttons L and R, you can choose to increase the speed a little by pressing both at once. You will be using this to move from side to side on the dance floor.
Getting other dancers to join your conga line is equally simple. Shake your way around them, by staying within a certain perimeter, you make them join you. Gather enough dancers of one of four types and you clear the level.

So there are four types of dancers which you need to get in your conga line when you close in on a dancer, it will show which type they are, conga around them and you fill up their specific meter.
This is where the game stops being simple, haha, you got this thing called Momentum that you need to maintain in order to keep shaking. While all in all, this is not that hard, obviously there are obstacles along the way.

My favorite obstacle, the pig that disrupts the line, closely followed by the banana peel on the floor, the janitor cleaning the dance floor, the bouncer, … Oh yeah, many ways to lose your groove.
In itself, this game is far from easy, but addictive beyond belief. It often feels like a strategy game, keeping the momentum alive, forming combos of getting more dancers in your conga line, … I actually loved it!
The more you play, the more obvious it becomes how you need to move your conga line, how to keep your momentum up and get the best possible dance flow.

After each level, you have this sort of mini-game, where a UFO beams up some of your dancers and you are jumping over pigs, sounds crazy, but do your best in this part, the survivors stay in your conga line, making the next level a little easier!
The game also supports amiibo and you can use them to unlock extra costumes for the dancers.

In conclusion, this game is very basic in how it plays, the 8-bit style lends itself perfectly to a game like this and it was fun to play. I loved the simplicity of the controls, the menus, …
While I do think the game is not for everyone, it really is worth checking out some gameplay videos on YouTube!
My rating for this game is 80%.
