Disney revealed new information about the upcoming Disney Infinity 3.0 during the D23 as well.
It looks like Keyblades will be a thing and Marvel fans can enjoy a four player co-op experience.
New details were given during a Disney Infinity 3.0 presentation, these are the highlights:
- Characters will be able to use the infamous Keyblade of the Kingdom Hearts franchise as a weapon.
- The King Mickey costume (Kingdom Hearts) is in the game but the disk needed for this seems to be a D23 exclusive.
- Marvel Battlegrounds is a new playset and will allow up to four players to work together in a new co-op mode.
- New characters were revealed as well, including: Finn and Rey from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Peter Pan, Spot (The Good Dinosaur), Judy and Nick(Zootopia), Sam Flynn and Quorra from Tron, Olaf and Mulan.
- There will Special Star Wars toys called LightFX Figures, thesewill have lightsabers that light up.
- You can visit El Capitan Theater in Hollywood and Flynn’s Arcade from Tron.
- There will be locations of the Disney Parks as well
