The Capcom Showcase of 2022 just ended and had some interesting games. Missed the show? Here’s our summary.
We started the showcase with Monster Hunter news, a new trailer dropped for the Sunrise part of Monster Hunter Rise. As per usual, Monster Hunter games look really impressive and this trailer was no exception! Switch and Steam players have a lot to look forward to with this title.
Street Fighter 6 is currently in development as previously announced this week, more information was provided in this small trailer for the game coming 2023.
Capcom Fighting Collection is coming with online matches and launches June 24th this year!

A Capcom showcase would be nothing without Resident Evil and we now know the DLC is coming soon, first person mode, Mercenaries Returns with more content and stages, characters, … Shadows of Rose is a completely new story, where you follow the girl called Rose in her own story! October 28, put it in your calendars now! There will also be a Gold version of the game that will cover the base game and the “winter” DLC.
Next on the showcase, even more Resident Evil, this time all about the remake of the fourth game. Well, they called it a reimagining and they did introduce a lot of new footage.
A short teaser clip showed Resident Evil 1, 2 and 3 are returning on the new generation of consoles! Completely unexpected but they are out today! Out on Series X/S and PS5. Welcome to the family!
