Summary: Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase September 2020

A day after the big PlayStation 5 showcase, Nintendo decided it was time to host another Partner Showcase today. Time for a summary!

The show started with a trailer of the new and upcoming Monster Hunter for Nintendo Switch. In the trailer, we saw a lot of great elements that will make this one of the more unique Monster Hunter adventures for sure. A grappling hook, special mounts, and a vast world to explore, filled with new and dangerous monsters, it’s all there. The game is called Monster Hunter Rise and is releasing March 26th, 2021.

Next up is another Capcom game featuring a glorious cartoon style, resembling The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. It’s another Monster Hunter game, in the Monster Hunter Stories franchise. Monster Hunter Stories 3: Wings of Ruin is coming to Switch during Summer 2021.

 

Fitness Boxing is getting a sequel, Fitness Boxing 2: rhythm and exercise. Is combining the fun of a rhythm game with the challenge of boxing exercises. Launching on December 4th.

 

 

Next op, an all-new Disgaea game,  number 6 is coming to Nintendo Switch. Launching during Summer 2021, as a console exclusive.

Time to fight crime in the next game. Empire of Sin is revealed.

Remember the cult classic Sniper Elite 4? Well, good news for Nintendo Switch fans because this gem is launching on the portable console during Winter 2020.

 

 

Next we saw a quick look at some upcoming games launching this month such as The Long Dark, PGA Tour 2K21, and Hades.

Next up, it’s Wonderworld, a game created by the Sonic creators which looks like a combination of their older games and is shaping up to be a fun retro-inspired game for sure. Releasing March 26th, 2021.

Rune Factory 5 got featured with a gorgeously created anime intro, setting the atmosphere of the game. On top of that, we saw a first glimpse of the gameplay, which really is looking promising! Coming in 2021.

 

 

To conclude this Partner Direct, there is one big surprise! Ori and the Will of the Wisps is launching on Nintendo Switch! That’s right, the acclaimed sequel is coming to the portable system too! The best news? It’s releasing later today! And there’s even an Ori Collector’s edition for pre-order.
