Welcome to our news summary of the Xbox presentation at E3 2019! After all the rumours, the hype is real and this is what was announced.
First of all, there have been tons of rumors, going from new hardware SKUs to full-blown Game Pass on other consoles (Nintendo) to even getting certain Nintendo Exclusives. Some of those rumors were outrageous and some were just plain old wishful thinking, but now the time has come and this is it! Xbox E3 2019 is live!
First off, I made a clear list of Xbox Studio games/Exclusives and World Premieres to keep things easy to follow with more detailed information down below, sit back and read all about it here!

We start off the presentation with a video, the game shown is a game from Obsidian called The Outer Worlds, dropping october 25th and this is a futuristic game.
Next up are two guests from Ninja Theory and they joined the Xbox studios last year and they proudly shared the following news, their game is called Bleeding Edge and they have been working on it for years, a World Premiere!
Ori, Will of the wisps, a highly anticipated game that will be coming to Xbox on February 11, next year!
Then we get a new game from the creators of Minecraft! Minecraft Dungeons is coming spring 2020, featuring 4 player coop.
Now we go to the main stage and welcome Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, who is clearly proud to be present at E3, presenting new stories and new heroes for the very first time. This presentation will feature no less than 60 games, spread throughout the show. We will get a glimpse of the future, both streaming and console wise. Let’s jump in!
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order is highlighted and it will come this November 15th!
Blair Witch, set in the sixties, this horror game is a world premiere and is coming to Xbox in august!
Cyberpunk 2077 is next, we had already seen this game and today we got a clearer view at what to expect, a SciFi adventure! It looked awesome and it seems so much fun! I can’t wait to play this one personally! This presentation had a special appearance by none other than Keanu Reeves! This game is an open world game, sporting a fascinating story, set in a metropolis of the future and body modifications are the standard! To a very loud pop, Keanu announced the release date of april 16, 2020.
SpiritFarer, a cartoonish game about exploring and building. Learn how to say goodbye in this stunning visual game!
Battletoads are back!
The Legend of Wright! A cartoony game that seems to bring a ton of content is coming too!
Deadstatic Drive, Star Renegade, Tabs, The good life, Cross code, Creature in the well, Killer queen black, roverbond, Unto the end, Blazing chrome, Felix the reaper, Undermine, Supermarket shriek, Ikenfell, LOTR, Night call, Totem teller! … are all shown briefly.
More games for Xbox games pass are announced, Hollow Knight, … Xbox Game pass is opening up their library on PC as of today! This had been previously announced but is now officially open! This brings the entire Halo Master Chief collection to PC! The open Beta launches today! We get a highlight reel with some of the biggest titles! Ark, Halo, Prey, Forza, Wolfenstein, … Same 9,99 per month!
Also introducing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which combines Gold, Game Pass and GP for PC all in 1 subscription for 14,99 a month! Today they will hold a promotion for 1 dollar!
World Premiere of the new flight simulator game is up next, a highly impressive looking game!
Next up is Age of Empires II, the definitive edition, fully upgraded and out this fall, will you return to reign supreme?
A Post-apocalyptic game about Colorado is up next, Do you have what it takes to survive in Wasteland 3? So much to see and do in this wonderland! Meet new people, make new friends and do whatever it takes to stay alive!
Matt Booty takes the stage, the head of Xbox Game Studios, announcing even more studios joining! Doube Fine productions is now an Xbox Studio! Psychonauts 2 trailer is shown!
Another world premiere is shown in the form of a Star Wars game in the Lego universe! Lego Star Wars – The Skywalker Saga and it is coming 2020, All nine movies in 1 game!
A new Dragon Ball game is announced! Based upon the original start of DBZ, we are getting a new fighting game called Project Z! Out in Early 2020.
Another World Premiere in the shape of a game called 12 minutes, a top-down game about someone who seemingly seems to relive the same 12 minutes all over again!
Next up is a strange game about two deer, it looks absolutely gorgeous and it appears to be some sort of puzzle adventure game called Way of the Woods, out in 2020.
Bound by blood was introduced next, by a freaky trailer. Gears 5 is releasing on September 10! 4 days early for those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate! More information to come in July! At Gamescom in August, even more information will be made available! The second trailer for Gears 5 was very impressive and it looks like a must own title already!
A brand new ELITE controller was shown off! This little baby of a controller is already a top notch piece of hardware and now we are getting an upgraded version! up to 40 hours per charge, preset modes, ….
Dying Light 2 is showcased next! The virus still roams free, do you have the guts to stay alive in this infested world or will you be crushed? Set for release in spring 2020.
Forza Horizon 4 has the next world premiere, the newest entry in the Forza Horizon series is showing us some Lego cars! The expansion pack is up next for Horizon 4! Playful fun meets Speed! Launching later this week!
Gears POP is shown next. The game we have seen before, sporting those uncute figures from the pop toys, this is the Gears game for this “series”. This is a game for both IOS and Android, yes, this is a mobile game!
State of Decay 2 Heartland, a brand new story in the series, is shown next! We ain’t seen nothing yet! 2 Stories! Available now!
Next is another World Premiere in the shape and form of Japan’s greatest online RPG, launching on Xbox in the West! Online Action with Crossplay! All the content and all the bosses and epic battles are coming, all free to play! The never-ending quest of Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming in Spring 2020!
Next Phil Spencer takes the stage again, introducing the Smilegate game called Crossfire X, this is a world premiere and it is coming to Xbox!
Next World Premiere is a Bandai Namco game, a gorgeous looking RPG by the name of Tales of Arise. This game has monsters and much more, Tales of Arise is coming in 2020
Borderlands – The handsome collection is shown next, a fun looking new entry in the series! The perfect intro towards the third game in the Borderlands saga!
Next up is another world premiere, a game called Elden Ring, which seems to be a fighting game. George RR Martin and none other than Hidetaka Miyazaki created this world.
Phil Spencer takes the center stage again! Introducing Console streaming, this will be possible to do even from your home console! Where you play is now your choice! And after this small interlude, he starts talking about the next console!
Consoles should be about gaming!
A ton of keywords like SSD and 120 frames are thrown at us, a new experience and no load times is being hyped. Codename Project Scarlett, out in holiday 2020. The most powerful and boldest console xbox has ever brought! No real pictures of the console are being shown. Mostly tech talk like custom processors, …
Project Scarlett will launch with Halo! Similar to the original Xbox, this new console will get the newest entry from the franchise as a launch game! A most stunning trailer for the new Halo was shown. We lost the fight and the Chief says we need to fight and you need to get ready! Halo Infinite!
