The second big E3 conference was the one of Bethesda, the company had a lot to share and in this article, you’ll find a nice summary of everything!
After what Xbox just pulled, Bethesda has to really bring their A-game not to be out-staged. After some elaborate explanation about listening to the fans, the show starts. What better way to start your epic show than by bringing excuses to the table for Fallout 76. The good people at Bethesda figured it’s better to laugh at your problems than to cry about it. It did get a few good chuckles from the crowd and the ice was broken for the following announcements:
Elder Scrolls Blades
Elder Scrolls Blades has been in early access and is quickly becoming one of the most downloaded mobile games. The game will get more updates to go along the amassed fanbase. A whole new dragon Quest line was announced.
Being able to play Elder Scrolls Blades on your mobile devices is great but one device was still missing… until now. The Nintendo Switch will have an Elder Scrolls Blades version for free coming fall 2019.
Fallout 76
Year 2 content for Fallout 76 needs to save the game. Bethesda knows this and used the criticism to add more stuff the fans actually wanted to try and redeem themselves. The year 2 content is all about rebuilding the wasteland after you’ve reclaimed it in year 1. The add-on will be completely free and will arrive in fall 2019. Featuring new quest lines, human NPC’s, dialogue trees, …
As another addition, a new mode was announced. Nuclear Winter lets you take control of vault 51. The problem is that 51 other players also would like to become the new overseer. The only apparent solution is to fight only one survives. All while a ring of fire closes in on the battlefield. That’s right… Bethesda just added a 52-player battle royale mode to Fallout 76.
Starfield
The much awaited new IP by Bethesda, Starfield was mentioned but only briefly. The studio is hard at work but more info let alone a trailer or footage wasn’t shared.
Ghostwire Tokyo
Tango Gameworks announced Ghostwire Tokyo, an action adventure game featuring a supernatural theme. People are disappearing in Tokyo and you have to find out why. Dabbling in the occult and encountering good-hearted and evil spirits will all be part of the game.
The Elder Scrolls Online
Bethesda announced the ever growing fanbase for the Elder Scrolls Online with more server support to facilitate a smooth experience. Next the newest add-on Elswayr was featured with some new additions. A trailer showed an epic fight with a dragon and featured Sai Sahan a legendary redguard swordmaster as an ally. The season of the dragon continues with the addition of Dragonhold add-on. Scalebreaker was also announced as extra content but more would be revealed at quakecon.

Rage 2
The massive world of Rage 2 gets bigger with the Rise of the Ghosts expansion. Featuring new vehicles, new enemies, new gameplay modes, new areas and an awesome looking controllable mech.
Wolfenstein
Wolfenstein cyberpilot was briefly mentioned as being a VR game. The only info shared was that you are a French resistance hacker and that the game takes place is what seems a modern era of the Wolfenstein mythos.
As expected Wolfenstein Youngblood was next. They promised more weapons, more upgrades and more customization along with more Nazis. Wolfenstein Youngblood takes place in the 80s as you are one of the two daughters of B.J. Blazkowicz. B.J. is missing in action in occupied territory and it’s your job to rescue him. Next to the single-player mode, you’ll also be able to play Youngblood as a co-op. Youngblood will be released July 26.
Deathloop
Next up, Arkane Lyon announced a new game called Deathloop. Only a trailer was shared and no actual gameplay footage. In an era of “crazyness” 2 assissins are going after each other. It looked like you can plan as either one of those assassins. Arkane Lyon mentioned you’ll have a choice in how everything pans out but remained vague about all the rest that will happen on the island of Black Reef.
Orion
With the rise of game streaming, ID software and Bethesda both worked on a new game engine named Orion, to ensure smoother gaming while streaming. To showcase that, doom 2016 was shown on being streamed 60 fps in 4K on a mobile phone. It looked pretty impressive.
Doom Eternal
Following the Orion demo flawlessly was the new Doom Eternal trailer. Going further along the path of Doom 2016 but with a wide array of new areas, Doom eternal looks like the big gun we’ve been waiting for. Gameplay footage was shown which clearly featured a lot of engaging battles. It looks clear there will be no room for defensive gameplay in Doom Eternal. The release date of November 22 was also mentioned. A collectors edition which features an epic looking (wearable) doomslayer helmet will be available.
Doom Battlemode
Doom Battlemode was mentioned as being a 2 vs. 1 type battle arena mode. 2 demons need to destroy 1 doomslayer or the other way around. By using demon strategy the demons can win while the doomslayer has to use his Doomslayer skills to get the upperhand. More about this exciting looking mode will be revealed at quakecon.
