Ubisoft teased the official reveal of Far Cry 5 the last couple of days, but today, it’s finally time to show you more of the project!
Far Cry is back with more harshness and unpredictable events. Far Cry 5 will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 27th 2018. Players will be able to travel to America, for the first time ever in the franchise. Here, they’ll discover the crazy world of Montana, alone or in co-op. It’ will be hard to survive while players are forced to fight for their freedom. The game is currently in development at Ubisoft Montreal together with the help of other Ubisoft studios.
In the game, you’ll take over the role of a young junior sheriff of the fictive Hope Country in Montana. Soon you’ll discover that a doomsday cult has taken over the city with a project called ‘The Project at Eden’s Gate’. It’s your job to save the community of Hope City from the violent hands of this mysterious but aggressive cult. An interesting take on the Far Cry formula so it seems.
