Welcome back to our weekly feature on Nintendo and everything around it! This is the week prior to the release of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Puyo Puyo Tetris.
As to be expected of the week prior to such big releases, this was a calm week with just a few interesting tidbits!
Let us start with the confusion surrounding Axiom Verge, one of the last physical games that will appear on the Wii U later this year, there were rumors about the game also coming to the Nintendo Switch, but after the sand settled, it became clear that the game is not confirmed at all.
Earthlock, a crowdfunded Wii U game, also made the rounds on the internet, if the developers decide to make a Nintendo Switch version of the game, the backers on Wii U are promised a download code for the Switch version as well, great news on that front!
The Splatoon Manga is getting an Englislocalizationon in the US by Viz media, I look forward to reading them as soon as they become available!
Several Switch games got updates and patches, most noticeably Bomberman R and Mr. Shifty!
The bad guy in the Zelda series officially got his family name confirmed as being Dragmire…
Japanese game Kamiko was confirmed for release within the next few days, I will be picking this up and review it on the site!
And the final news of this week, a rumoured SNES mini would hit the market later this year, hopefully with more available stock than the NES mini…
