As many already knew, Nintendo is releasing a Deluxe version of Mario Kart 8 on Switch.
This Deluxe version offers all the content of the original game, but comes with some great new additions of course. Important to know is that the Battle Mode has been reworked and will offer a lot of new and returning tracks like Urchin Underpass, Battle Stadium, Luigi’s Mansion (GCN) and SNES Battle Course 1.
The Inklings of Splatoon make their entrance in the popular Kart game together with new racers King Boo, Dry Bones and Bowser Junior.
That’s not all, you’re able to carry up to two items while racing and some of the player’ favorite weapons return to the scene, including the stealing Boo item and a lot more.
There’s no official word on new courses but I’m sure those will be in there as well. This Deluxe version is releasing on Nintendo Switch only, on April 28.
