Hello guys, E3 is back and so am I. My Top 5 reveals are not necessarily the things I want to see, but more like things I’m sure E3 will bring 100% according to me.
Because I drink, and I know things!
Let’s start the list:
PS4+
There are way too many rumors about an updated hardware version of Sony’s home console. I’ve seen smoke, so there must be fire! I think this updated console, whether it’s PS4K,PS4.5 or PS4+, will harbor faster hardware and I guess it will get a design overhaul to emphasize its difference in power. I kind of suspect a bundled release with Sony’s VR system as well!
The next Halo
E3 has been the birthplace of Halo reveals for a long time now and I don’t see why this year would be any different. We’ll get to see an epic CGI trailer or short title teaser with an awesome fight and a style that will probably never find its way into the game itself. (You remember the hooded Master Chief in the desert right?) Jokes aside, Halo will be back and 343 is going to show us where the next installment will lead us on XBOX ONE.
Nintendo is not dead
With all the Nintendo related news being somewhat underwhelming lately and with them announcing quietly that the WiiU support will dry out until the NX’s release, I guess you can say that they have something up their sleeves to entice us back into their minivan. Especially with Zelda WiiU/NX being delayed yet again until after “World War Trump”… “NX will not be shown at E3” they said… “Zelda WiiU will be the only game we will bring to E3” they said… I don’t believe them, Nintendo has a way of dealing with these blows and they will have a surprise for us I’m sure!! Our bodies are ready Nintie! Just give us our candy now!
Call of Duty gameplay session with emphasis on which console your first shallow DLC will release FIRST!
You can’t watch E3 without getting your eyes infused with lengthy COD gameplay sessions where they show you Michael Bayesque explosions (Yes I did make that word up) and since they’ve already done dogs we’ll get pterodactyls or guinea pigs as a pet. In HD right?! Can’t say that enough guys! Let the console wars begin again. Also, notice how well they’ll frame the console’s controller into the stream so you know what console you should get it on!

Simpsons already did it Sony’s probably getting a revamped PS4 so Xbox can’t fall behind right?
A newer Xbox one that is slimmer, quieter, and doesn’t try to shove a Kinect down your throat. This update will be ready for VR and you will again cry like a baby when you hear the phrase “And there’s one underneath every chair of everyone here at our presentation”.
I’m a bit of a dreamer but somehow every year I get one of them to come true at E3 so I’ll go all out crazy this time to see if I hit a nail again!

Thanks for reading my cynical view on this year’s E3. I am a very happy and joyful fellow in real life, but I guess if I lower my standards, I will really be blown away this year! Let the games BEGIN!
