News: Here is how cinder works in Killer instinct.

The most requested character is shown of in Iron Galaxies stream and while he has some really cool thing he feels way to plain gameplay wise for killer instinct.

Cinder is an all-rounder.

First thing about Cinder is Fired Up mode which will enhance specials with extra traits. Anytime you use to much special you will lose your Fired Up mode and have to wait to 8 seconds to get it back.

Another mechanic is Burn out wich means if you use fission or inferno ender you will lose the ender damage but you will set either the arms or legs of the opponent on fire which will do potential damages to cash out with the next combo. But if the opponent attacks with the libs that are on fire you will extent the duration of the flames wich means more potential damage. Oh and you can set both limbs on fire if you’re good enough. But it’s not all bad because if you break Cinder’s combo you will remove the Burn Out.

The Human Torch seems to be  inspired by street fighting or some old-school boxing. he has some really good fast kicks but a bad forward dash. His back dash seems really good though with a cool roll and a lot of distance. Also in his repertoire is as are normals Ryu’s whirlwind kick and Captain Falcon’s knee of justice.

Another thing with this burning man is that he has target combo’s with hitting up to three times and you can mix the light, medium and heavy punches for as much variation you like.

As for specials Inferno is back and when blocked it will not chip but instead eat away at the life bar for later potential damage. His fired up version gives more reach and his light med heavy changes duration. His fire flash is relatively the same but leaves the Flaming Contra Logo now. Trailblazer is a lot like Talbain’s Beast Cannon. With it you can change direction after the first time, so you can use it two times. His shadow version gives him an extra direction. Isnt it interesting that cinder get shown of on the day Beowulf came out and both have Talbain’s Beast Cannon.

A new move is his fire bomb which you can stick on enemies and explode when you want. You can place up to three bombs and while they don’t do damage on hit you can’t block them from sticking on you. The shadow version makes one big ball that has an explosion so big you’d think it comes out of the screen.

One last thing is that when you detonate the bombs mid combo they raise the combo level.

Another new move is Fission slap and while it sound simultaneously cool and dumb the move itself is the latter. With Fission Slap Cinder takes two bombs and hits them together for an explosion. lights do feints and you can use them to destroy projectiles. The shadow version blows up your Xbox.

His instinct gives him infinite Fired up, one extra trailblazer, larger bombs and larger Fission plus super safe reversals.

His new back story is the following:

Ben is not a criminal anymore, in this version he is a decorated soldier.

being a bitching soldier he started doing some shady missions for big companies which caused him to get on Interpol’s most wanted. Ben being the badass he is easily avoids Interpol.

Then one day Ben gets a contract which tasks him to infiltrate Ultratech and steal documents about Project Cinder.

After a year of infiltration and bugging Ultratech Ben knew nothing more about Project Cinder.

This Cinder is infused with Galcius’s DNA which did the complete opposite of Glacius.
