News: Dragon Age: Inquisition will have multiplayer.

Bioware released information about the co- op multiplayer of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

The multiplayer will be running beside the singleplayer campaign, so if you’re not into multiplayer then you don’t have to play it. The multiplayer  is being played in different sessions and each session will take you around 30 minutes to finish. The maps are randomly generated and you’ll have to fight your way through 5 checkpoints.

You won’t have the oppurtunity to rethink certain decisions since everything will be played real time. The cause of the whole co- op experience is all about getting loot and make your characters more powerful. Three maps will be available at launch: Elven Ruins, Tevinter and Orlesian Palace.

Some differences with the singleplayer version: You’re not an inquisitor but you’re a hero working for an inquisitor. No dialogue choices will be made but there still will be some story elements. You can choose between 9 different hero’s: 3 mages, 3 warriors and 3 rogues.

If you’re still not convinced about the multiplayer experience, you can still play the 200 hours long campaign.
