iOS-developers can now bring their creations to the big screen with the new Gamedock. It’s not a new console, but a dock in which you can place a lot of iDevices – like the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
The dock connects to the television on which you can play a lot of games that were only available on the small screen, with two retro NES-controllers. For the moment, you can only play apps that require just two buttons, but the developer is working on a dashboard with which you can easily find all the compatible games.
The required funding, a little less than 50.000 dollars, are as good as available, so the Gamedock will be launching in the (near) future. The price is a little expensive: for 125 dollars, you can transform your iPhone or other Apple device into a small gameconsole, and you get two USB-controllers as well.
