Nintendo showed of the newest 3DS games yesterday and Super Mario Bros. 2 was shown with a new demo.
The game will feature several new modes like Coin Rush-mode and a co-op.
During the Software Showcase Nintendo revealed a 2 player co-op mode for its upcoming New Super Mario Bros. 2 game. The co-op mode will be like the Wii co-op of New Super Mario Bros. The second player will play as Luigi but the camera will only focus on the first player.
Also new is the Coin Rush-mode. This mode is only available if you finish the level first. Afterwards you have to complete three levels in a row with just one life. You’ll have to move fast and safe if you wish to receive a lot of coins at the end. The records can be exchanged using StreetPass.
