Company of Heroes 2 will launch for PC in 2013. Publisher THQ released this information in a pressmessage.
The second part moves the battle to the Eastfront of the Second World War, as announced by magazine PC-gamer. Players get the control over the Russian soldiers who have to stop the Nazi’s before they reach Moscow.
The game uses the Essence 3.0 engine and is being developed by Relic. The so called ‘Dynamic Battle Tactics’ system is new, but there are also new Commander Abilities and you are also able to destroy a lot more of the environment. The previous Company of Heroes dates from 2006.
