Today, Square Enix has made public that they are working on the title ‘Sleeping Dogs’.
The announcement was accompanied by a live-action trailer that should give us some more information about the game.
Sleeping Dogs is a dark and compelling open-world policegame in which you play the role of undercover officer Wei Shen. Wei has the task to uncover one of the world’s most feared criminal organisations: the Hong Kong Triads. While players explore the streets and stretching markets of one of the biggest cities of China, Hong Kong, an amazing story about loyalty and treason unfolds itself. Wei starts doubting about his own reasons while he, deeper undercover than he could have expected, is being entangled in the underworld.
Sleeping Dogs is being developed by United Front Games in coöperation with Square Enix London Studios and will launch in the second half of 2012 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
