Medal of Honor: Warfighter has not had a very good welcome in the world of gaming, and because of that, publisher EA suggested making an annual Battlefield episode.
EA hasn’t decided yet, but annual Battlefield’s could be an option.
EA Labels CEO Frank Gibeau says the following:
We’re commited to – we’re focused on building the next Battlefield experience right now, and our goal is to make a high-quality experience that grows the business. If we do that on an annual basis, that’s not something that we’ve announced or are openly discussing at this point. We’re really just focused on the next Battlefield.
Since the release of Bad Company 2, two years ago, every year and a half or two years, there’s been a new battlefield, with a new Medal of Honor in between. Would EA do any good in launching a new episode every year? Or are they doing the same as the developers of Call of Duty? Give us your opinion!
