Welcome to our overview of Inside Xbox 2020, the one on May seventh where they show off the good stuff, the new games of the next generation of Xbox!
With next generation right around the corner and the current state of the world with the Covid-19 pandemic resulting in the cancellation of E3 this year. This is probably one of the most anticipated shows in the gaming community right now. Lander will do an impressions article which should appear shortly after the presentation and I will be getting my money ready to buy that Series X already…
As this presentation is all about the new games, let us dive straight in! We get a foreword from various key people from Xbox and Halo Infinite is getting hyped for a big reveal in July. Now onto the presentations for what the partners will be bringing to Xbox Series X.
We start off with some impressive First Person Shooter action with swordplay mixed in and the title is Bright memory Infinite from Playism. Created from the ground up by a single person in China!
Next game is a world premiere, cars racing through the streets and this is a Codemasters title. Offroad buggies, big time mud action, racing in the dark. This game is looking slick and Dirt 5 will be present on Xbox Series X.
Third game begins with an eerie view at a dark place, the music is making my hairs raised. A creature seemingly wants to get out of his prison. The title for this game is Scorn.
Fourth is the next world premiere, Deep Silver presents, what seems to be a space flyer/shooter called Chorus.
More world premieres, this time Madden 21! Gameplay from the very first Madden game ever is shown and then switched to the new 21 edition to highlight all the differences.
Next game is starting with the Ferris Bueller song, the memories. This game is a horror game with supernatural influences. This trailer is my personal favourite at this moment (haha). Vampire Bloodlines 2!
Another world premiere for Xbox Series X, Out of the Blue and Raw fury present a cartoonesque game called action game called Call of the Sea. Rather special looking game!
More World premieres, Curve digital this time, a futuristic bladerunner style game, looking like a twin stick shooter game set in the future, The Ascent is also coming to Xbox Series X.
More World Premieres, they keep coming one after the other. This one was called The medium and is coming holiday 2020. A next gen psychological horror game.
Next game is an anime style psychokinesis fighter, the style is gorgeous and gives me a monster hunter feeling, this one is called Scarlet Nexus.
The following game is a First Person shooter called Second Extinction, where you hunt down dinosaurs.
The games come one after the other and we got a yakuza style game next. Ichi gets shot by his boss and somehow survives and now it seems to be time for payback! Yakuza, Like a dragon.
Quite a few games were shown and to close the show, Assassin’s creed Valhalla gameplay was shown and they confirmed more information to come.
