More information about the upcoming Gears of War game has been released today.
The game is called Gears of War: Judgment and will take place just after Emergence Day .
A very trustworthy source mentioned the name Judgment and revealed that the game would take place 10 years before the Marcus Fenix trilogy. In Judgment you’ll take control over the Kilo squad featuring Baird, Cole, Garron and Sofia. The two last characters are new playable characters.
Because the game will take place 10 years before the other Gears game, it’s believed that you’ll witness the impact of Emergence Day at day one. The original Gears of War trilogy takes place 14 years after E-day.
The Gears of War books also mention the Kilo Squad and it was said both Cole and Baird were arrested for endangering the human civilization. The Kilo Squad ended its existence two years after E-day.
More information will be revealed during E3.
