Recap: PlayStation State of Play June 2025

PlayStation held a special State of Play to showcase some interesting new and upcoming games. Missed it? Here’s the recap!

Let’s start with Ghost of Yotei, there wasn’t really a lot to see during the Stat of Play but this upcoming gem will get its own State of Play later on.

007 First Light got its first gameplay trailer, it’s being developed by the talented team that brought us the Hitman games in the past. It’s releasing on all modern consoles in 2026:

 

 

Final Fantasy Tactics is back! Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles was revealed and brings back the strategic classic in a remastered version, releasing on all consoles September 30th:

 

Silent Hill f is releasing on September 25th and received a gorgeous new trailer to celebrate this news, coming to PC, PlayStation, and Xbox:

 

Arc System Works known for fighters as Blazblue en Guilty Gear is working on a brand-new 4vs4 tag-team fighter based on the Marvel IP. Here’s Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls the game looks amazing and is releasing on PlayStation and PC in 2026:

 

Bloodstained returns in its prequel  Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagemen which promises to have the biggest map and weapon arsenal ever in the franchise.
