Review: Stunt Paradise

Welcome to our review of Stunt Paradise, a game that looks like a 1 euro smartphone game but really surprises you at how fun it really is.

Welcome to Stunt Paradise, the ultimate destination for extreme driving and heart-pumping stunts! Buckle up and prepare to experience the thrill of a lifetime as you take on the most epic challenges on four wheels. Push your driving skills to the limit as you perform insane stunts, including jumping off ramps, flipping through the air, and smashing through explosive obstacles! Explore extreme tracks in various locations, from industrial cities and dusty deserts to beautiful tropical beaches. With many cool cars to choose from, each level offers a unique challenge that enhances your driving experience.

Stunt Paradise is a game where you just get caught off guard. It looks like a Mario maker-style simulator made all the course and yet, it is both challenging and entertaining. I will admit that I expected this game to blow, but damn, it did blow, blow me away at how a simple idea can be turned into a great game.

From possibly some of the easiest mechanics and a forgiving world to play in, Stunt Paradise lets you push down on your gas pedal and just enjoy the ride in all its weirdness. Kind of like a private Wacky races course, but without chasing that elusive pigeon. From the beginning, this game just does the trick by being just the right kind of tough.

Yes, even the first level, where you just get forward/back and the ability to tilt your car (for when you are airborne), can result in failure, I will gladly admit I even fell for the obvious desire to ignore the sign that told me to reverse the car. I just got stubborn and drove to my demise. I loved it a lot.

The entire game is basically all about timing keeping your eyes on your surroundings and then enjoying the game. From jumping a ramp to tilting your car to perfectly land on a bridge that already started collapsing on its own, trying to avoid a certain death when you fall to your demise if you do not hold your foot on the throttle. It almost sounds like a 90s action movie with one of many long-forgotten actors.

What I really liked about Stunt Paradise is how it is really a single-way scroller, you can not steer, and everything is basically just forward and backward. This aspect really finished the game for me, too many games similar to this have you driving across bridges all while trying to be in the middle of the bridge, in all its simplicity, Stunt Paradise did this right too.

In conclusion, Stunt Paradise is a surprise and quite honestly more entertaining than I ever imagined it would be.
