It’s Pokémon Day and what better way to celebrate than with a new Pokémon Presents presentation? Missed the show? Time for a summary!
In today’s presentation, we will be getting more information, starting with the Pokemon World Championships, held for the first time in Japan itself! Followed by a hype video about the Trading card game, indicating the incoming release of a CLASSIC trading card game, intended to last a life time. A rather high end experience it seems!
Pokemon and Netflix are getting a new announcement as well, a brand new series coming called Pokemon Concierge, adapting fan favourite stories and stop motion animation. Partnered with Dwarf Studios, brings us the series soon.
Next up, updates on several of the pokemon games. Unite is entering its second year of playing, introducing Zacian and new events. Pokemon Cafe is seeing the introduction of Paldea pokemon! Pokemon Master EX on the other hand is already celebrating 3,5 years now as well and is also highlighted.
Next up is the introduction of Pokemon Sleep, some sort of sleep tracker, but unlike the promotional video, it does not come with Augmented reality pokemon and as someone that sleeps together with his real life cats, that is kind of disappointing haha, out later this year!
On to news about Scarlet and Violet, the 2 newest games out now on Switch! New Tera Raid events have been announced for Walking Wake or Iron Leaves, including Pokemon Go connectivity. Pokemon Home support is coming as well!
Last but not least is another new video, The hidden treasure of Area Zero! DLC will be available for purchase on the Scarlet/Violet games, 2 parts with one on Fall 2023 (The Teal Mask) and one in Winter 2023 (The indigo disk). This will introduce many familiar faces previously unseen and 2 new pokemon. Available on the eshop shortly after the presentation so if you want them, head there now!
