Gamescom is back at full force this year! Although some important publishers are missing from the show floor, there’s still plenty to discover! Before Gamescom open its doors for press and creators tomorrow, it’s time for some epic reveals during the Gamescom: Opening Night Live! Missed the stream? Here’s a summary!
To Make things easy on myself, I will be using the abbreviation WP to mention a game is a world premiere. Gamescom tends to not disappoint for them so let us get going!
WP: Everywher3, the game. A weird trailer that is specifically described as a new world for gamers?
WP: Dune Awakening, a short but powerful intro for this open world game.
Playstation just announced the dualsense Edge, a high performance controller for the PS5.
Next up, information on The Callisto Protocol. A game that is a new IP and quite a lot has been shown in regards to this game before, Gamecom added more gameplay to the fun!
A big fat trailer for The Lords of the Fallen was dropped! What a game!
Next is a couch coop game, Moving out 2
Hogwarts Legacy trailer was next, got to love this franchise.
New Tales of the Borderlands is up next, that art style is still as lit as ever.
Dying Lights 2 DLC is coming soon, Bloody Ties!
Destiny 2: Lightfall was next, this one looks like a must play, I had high Warhammer vibes from this one.
WP: It is Sonic time! A confirmed release date accompanying this very cool trailer for Sonic Frontiers. Out on November 8.

Next up is Gotham Knights. We have seen a lot of trailers and footage before, but this sheds more light on the game.
WP: Where winds meet, a very enticing samurai game.
After the obligatory “Jeff knows Kojima” bit, we move on to the next presentaton. Park Beyond is a new amusement park builder.
Next was a bit of a weird one, Mini X Pokemon, an electric car from the Mini brand, with the pokemon crossover. I must admit I am very interested in this new electric car.
Warhammer Darktide gets some love and then we move on to Blacktail, available coming winter.
