Paw Patrol: The movie – Adventure City Calls is not the first title I would think of when I started this special new style review. I know I did enjoy the previous games I played, mind you that they are aimed at children and they do not disappoint in the proper age class. Meaning not for me, but for my nephews for example. Paw Patrol: The movie – Adventure City Calls is no exception.

A ton of collecting, grabbing puppy treats that change colors depending which pup you are controlling, grabbing badges, … A lot of slow action as you’d expect from any game aimed at the youngest among us and really, it does not disappoint. I can see the majority of kids having the best time with a game like this and if you are a parent of a young aspiring gamer, give this one a try.

A basic playthrough took me around 3 hours, but I did not bother much with the mini-games, I played the entire video game to end and well, this is where our new approach for some game reviews comes into play. We shared our entire gameplay on our youtube and the embedded videos in this review are actually the full game. Obviously do not show them to your kids if they are getting the game as a surprise, because we almost did a 100% run, grabbing nearly every possible collectible on hand.

Personally, I found that when the game crashes, the Xbox stops recording. That was a new one to experience and it had me redo two levels because of it. I really did not even mind, the atmosphere is fun in these Paw Patrol games and I still had my share of fun.

In conclusion, while I did encounter a few caveats while playing, I can say very little bad on the actual game. Paw Patrol: The movie – Adventure City Calls is a great game for kids, keeping them entertained for many hours!
