Lawn Mowing Simulator can be best described in 1 sentence, doing what you hated as a kid like some sort of therapy and I got to say, this game was way more soothing than I ever expected it to be. Maybe the perfectionist in me got its share of satisfaction because well, Lawn Mowing Simulator is a blast to play.
I never thought I would say something like that, but it really was a great experience. Slowly chipping down the lawn, riding back over leftovers, getting the edges, … I would almost forget that there is so much more to this game, sure, I enjoyed the entire lawn mowing experience, but heck, there is an entire company simulator here.
From buying new tools to basic maintenance. Lawn Mowing Simulator gives you so much in return. While this part was far from my favorite and not really soothing, I mean really, running a business without any real-life monetary benefits? I just kept going back for the giggles and the relaxed feeling I was having.
Sure, Lawn Mowing Simulator will not be for everyone, heck, I doubt many will agree with the score I am about to give it. But you got to keep an open mind here, I included almost an hour of gameplay, yes, that is me driving, at the beginning of this review. Just to show you how slow it goes but also how precise it asks you to mow the lawn. Now if only this game would pay me, I would end up playing it all day.
In conclusion, every now and then, you get a game that you think will be a stinker, I sincerely thought this would be a bad experience. This game totally caught me off guard and it turned out to be one of the better games I played this summer. Want to sit back and relax? Get this game!
