Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition is, simply said, a FREE update to the game that brings the graphical experience to a whole new level. Metro has always been a game that was known and respected for the great storyline and exploring the vast wasteland. And this update might be the opportunity for you to replay the game. We got a chance to go hands-on with this Enhanced version thanks to the Deep Silver Creator Collective. If you have never played the game then this might be the moment to consider trying it out!
If you already own the game, you will have to download to Enhanced version and it will show up in your library ( Steam, Epic, GOG, or Microsoft Store) as a separate item. This is important because the Enhanced version has a minimum requirement of a Ray Tracing capable graphics card. If you do not have the Ray Tracing capable card, the game won’t even start up and you are better off starting the standard edition.
Now for the important part is it actually good? Well simply said yes, the game looks a whole lot better than it used to and in the dark tunnels the lighting and shadows can really come to fruition. But also in the bright outside areas, you can really feel the difference. So this is actually a really good game and if you have it already and you have an RTX graphics card, why not give it another playthrough? And if you do not already have it, it is worth it anyways.
