When I started playing this masterpiece, I literally knew nothing about it. This proved to be the best basis for one heck of an experience. The game starts with some amazing music and before I knew it, I was hours into the game and actually in dire need of some sleep so I would not be exhausted when I arrived at my day job. I ended up with nearly 3 hours of sleep that very same night, it was just that great. More than once did I just have the idea that this game needed a Netflix show or something.

Tell Me Why is very narrative-driven and brings a whole new dimension to the table with not just great narration and a splendid storyline but also very mature and sensitive topics that are almost magically mixed with each other.

On top of the narration and the slow yet steady pace, there are the intense deja-vu moments and that first time that I encountered one spontaneously, my Xbox controller just started buzzing and I just instinctively knew what to do, the way to recognize a great game, where instinct and intuition allow you to make the next step.

Graphically, this is one beautiful game, I love how some conversations allow you to still move the camera around and especially at the beginning of the game when you are on the boat talking with Allyson, that part was just drop-dead gorgeous.

As this game is all about exploration and solving some puzzles, it was right up my alley and I must say I did not anticipate this game to be so addictive. The story itself might not be for everyone but personally, I can just say that it is well worth your time. The things you slowly find out, make it all worth it.

In conclusion, Tell my why is deservedly the winner at Gamescom for best Xbox game, this game is plain and simple a fabulous game.
