Xbox Games Showcase recap!

Welcome to our recap article on everything shown at todays Microsoft Event where they lifted the veil on first party Xbox Series X games!

As previously announced, this presentation is to last around the 1 hour mark and we start off with the big one, Halo infinite! In the beginning of the reveal, all footage shown is clearly of the demo, as the trailer mentions.

After crashlanding, you exit your craft to go explore the lands and even entering an all terrain vehicle to get around. The footage shown seems to be in-game and if it turns out not to be, we will be editing this part. It looks gorgeous too by the way…

On the fly picking up new weapons, destroying enemies in a glorious fashion, this trailer shows it all. I love the part where you take over a turret to use it to fire on the enemies. Halo Infinite looks like it will be a blast.

Out in Holiday 2020, a bit sad that no specific date was given. A confirmed 60fps and more information is to come at a later date.

World Premiere: State of Decay 3

Yes, State of Decay 3 is officially announced by a short trailer. Sadly no details were given about this game as we moved straight to Phil Spencer. He announces that all games shown today will be included in Game Pass, which is truly amazing in my humble  opinion.

Forza is up next and this world premiere showed amazing cars racing across your screen in 4k at 60fps. All captured in engine and Forza Motorsport looks to be a game made for the fans of the genre.

Next up is Rare, a Xbox Game studio and they present us with the game called Everwild. A game that brings a magical world to explore. It looks quite special and it is coming to both Xbox Series X and PC.

Dontnod Entertainment; another Xbox Game Studio presents us with the next game of this presentation. Tell me why, first chapter coming end of august already!

Moon Studios is the next one in line to show off their skills and they are bringing Ori and the Will of the wisps to the Series X and this game will be a massive upgrade compared to the Xbox One edition, boosting 120 hertz, … Smart Delivery confirmed so if you already own this, you got your Series X version as well.

Another new title is The Outer worlds, Peril on Gorgon, out september 9th.

Next is a game making a hilarious pun on Cyberpunk claiming to be the biggest game and their title is the smallest, as shrunk down kids try to survive what appears to be a garden filled with scary insects. Grounded is coming July 28 through early access.

The next big Obsidian RPG is also shown. In a medieval setting, we got magic and physical fighting in the title called Avowed. This was a world premiere.  Built from the ground up, Avowed is a completely new title.

Next is Interior/night, a studio bringing  their new project to Xbox. Their first game is the story about how you will shake the fate of real flawed people. The trailer is obviously another world premiere. An interactive Drama title called As Dusk Falls.

Ninja Theory is up next, Senua 2 had already been announced and they are giving an inside on the title and it will be set in Iceland. Hellblade is a massive title to come!

We got a cameo by Jack Black who will be performing a voice in the new title called PsychoNauts 2. This title looks incredible and sounds something right up my personal alley. A 3D platformer with tons of bright colors and wacky animations.

Destiny 2 is coming to Game Pass and Series X. Bungie will also release a version specifically for Series X.

Next is a world premiere and a console exclusive. Set in a dark toned world, you have STALKER 2 coming.

Again a console exclusive world premiere, Warhammer!!! Warhammer 40000 Darktide is coming next year.

Another console excusive world premiere, this time it is Tetris time, in what appears to be a connected edition of the game called Tetris Effect.

More world premiere console exclusives. This one starts with a space ship and someone jumping out in a rather exotic world. A platforming game where you seem to be sucking up dark matter called The Gunk.

And another one, a game with dual reality approaches and it seems to be a horror themed game with supernatural features. The Medium is its name.

More console exclusives, this world premiere is from Sega and it seems to be from the PSO franchise, Phantasy Star Online is coming to Series X as New Genesis got announced.

More of the exclusives as we are getting the title from Remedy called Crossfire X. A high octane shooter game.

Next is the dreaded one more thing; another world premiere.

From Playground games, the rumoured Fable is hereby confirmed.
