Welcome to our overview article for the Ubisoft Forward presentation that aired online on July 12th, 2020.With the current pandemic responsible for cancelling this years’ E3, Ubisoft and many others held online events where they announced news and featured new trailers and games! Today was Ubisofts turn and this is what they had to show:
We start the presentation with more footage from Watch Dogs Legion. A game that was first shown last year and now we got to see more on this very promising title. Set in the London Tube, this film looks damn amazing. Much like last years presentation, this seems to be a title to keep your eyes open for!
After the movie, we are shown game footage and parts of the mechanics are explained. The recruiting of heroes that you have chosen and invested in. Stay safe and welcome to the resistance!
From the enemies of Albion to the base mechanics of being able to use anybody, the information given on Watch Dogs Legion is very extensive and it looks amazing. Out end of October 2020!
Next up is some news for Brawlhalla, the game is coming to mobile with IOS and Android support. Customizable controls and crossplay are shown and it is coming august 6th.
Might and Magic Era of Chaos is up next in the presentation, What appears to be a promo for more content on mobile. I admit I never played the game but it looks fun!
Fourth in this presentation is a new mobile game from Tom Clancy and more news is to come soon!
Rainbow Six Siege gets the fifth spot in this presentation and as the game hit its first year anniversary, the community is stronger than ever. Boasting 60+ million players, they say they are just getting started.
Hyper Scape is up next and this battle royale game recently got a demo, now more light is being shed on this game. This presentation shows some gameplay and reveals that much more is to come.
Next up is Phil Spencer, the head honcho of Xbox, coming to tell us Ubisoft will be fully supporting Xbox Series X and Watch Dogs eg will get smart delivery, followed by a segway into Assassins creed Valhalla.
ACV is shown in great detail and very expansively. Wanting to bring a really personal experience, the game is about relocating from Norway to England. The English do not really want to see you coming so the brutal fighting begins. A deep dive into the game is shown next. Available November 17.
Last but not least, Far Cry 6, the game that got spoiled a few day ago thanks to the Hong Kong digital store, was officially announced as well.
