State of Play December 10th 2019

Welcome to our quick recap of the december 10th State of Play from Sony. The last one for 2019 for Playstation 4.

These State of play videos have become somewhat of a habit for Sony to showcase up and coming titles and we dive right into things. Untitled Goose Game is coming to PS4! We get a small preview of what this glorious game brings and it is out in 1 week from now, December 17th!

Next is a spellbinding battle royale experience called Spellbreak. The game appears to be very high octane and you can see the players shoot off multiple spells including fire and thunder. This game enters closed beta in spring 2020.

Third game in this State of Play is a new update for “Dreams”, a groundbreaking game on PS4. Racing, platforming, musou, … all the genres appear to be present in this game with some FPS here and some puzzling there, this game looks to cater to everyone. Out february 14th!

Superliminal is the fourth game in the State of Play. A wacky puzzle that is unlike any other puzzle game you played before. Space and time no longer applies in this game! Out next year!

Paper Beast is the fifth game and this one is for VR! This game looked very trippy and origami inspired to me. Out Q1 2020. Genre is puzzle game!

Sixth in line is information about expansions as Kingdom Hearts 3 is getting DLC called Re Mind, January 23rd! This one is close and it looks great! New characters and battles.

Next is an update on Predator Hunting Grounds. You are the Predator and you hunt the humans in this game, out on april 24th.

Babylon’s Fall is the next Square-Enix and Platinum Games’ joint game. A game resembling the musou genre as the demo mostly showed hack and slash mechanics and some very impressive graphics. Currently in development and no date given.

Project Resistance is up next, this is a Capcom title. A ton of action is shown and it looks to be a game about infection and the escape from that very same infection. In case you did not know, this is none other than Resident Evil 3. Out April third 2020. Preorder is available on the eshop starting now!

Last but not least, the father of Playstation wanted to share a special message. He talks about the transformation from casual gaming to becoming an entertainment empire.

And now, one more thing, the most used moniker ever… A small showing of Ghost of Tsushima. More of this trailer will be shown during the game awards.

And there we have it, see you in 2020!
