Welcome to our overview article of the Nintendo Direct that was aired on september fourth 2019.
We start off the presentation with a big hitter, Overwatch, though already basically spoiled thanks to a previous carry case listing, is now officially confirmed to be coming! Out on 15 October!
Then we move to our host Shinya Takahashi. He welcomes Overwatch to the Nintendo Switch and then announces Luigi’s Mansion 3 and providing more information on this highly anticipated game. Several new floors of the hotel are shown in the trailer. A new attraction is shown as well, which is basically a ghostbusters coop game. October 31st is the release date!
A new Free to start Kirby game is coming to Switch called Kirby Clash! More than 100 quests and the key to victory is to know your role. Many modes are introduced and it is available shortly after this presentation.
Next up is the Trials of Mana game. Light and Darkness modes, full movement confirmed and this game is coming April 24th, 2020.
Return of the Obra Dinn is the next announced game. A time influenced game that is happening on a ship. All in search of what brought the Obra Dinn to its end, out in autumn 2019!
Little Town Hero, previously known as the Town project, is showcased next! This game appears to be a strategical RPG and is made by Game Freak, october 16th is the release day!
The third challenger pack for Smash Bros is out today! So if you have SSB, Banjo and Kazooie are available!
More Smash news as the Neo Geo classic brawler of good old days is the next challenger, none other than Terry Bogard was just announced as the newest fighter in development! Fatal Fury is joining Smash! A tentative november is shown as release date. More fighters will be added later as they will not stop at 5 brawlers for the DLC!!!!
Back to Zelda, Link’s awakening is shown off and a lot of screens are shown. Dungeons effects are shown and amiibo support is hereby confirmed, out late this month on the 20th! Double Gold points for those ordering on the eshop.
Dragon Quest 11, my personal GOTY of 2018 is showcased next! Free DLC is shown and this RPG giant is coming end of this month on the 27th! There is a free demo available now and I highly recommend that everyone downloads it!
Next up is Tokyo Mirage, A RPG where you try to enter the media business! Tokyo Mirage Sessions FE Encore. Out on the 17th of January 2020.
Deadly Premonition 2, Aaliyah Davies is back in New Orleans of 14 years ago. The story between two times is available in 2020. The original game will launch later today as DP Origins.
Divinity Original Sin is finally coming to Nintendo Switch! This epos is making the switch and cloud saves will work with Steam accounts too! Out Today!
Next is Pete Hynes from Bethesda! He announces Doom 64! This is one of the best games from its genre from 25 years ago! Out on November 22.
A new IP is up next, Rogue Company! A shooter game that looks very expansive and will be out in 2020.
Next we get a small breather with news from the new Pokemon entries Sword and Shield! Customisation is introduced such as outer wear and gloves, hair styles, make up, … Pokemon Camp can be used to play with and care for your pokemon, including visiting other players camps. Cook up dishes in pokemon camp! Curry on Rice can be made, over a 100 types even. New pokemon are introduced as well. Exploring the Galar Region is possible from November 15th!
Nintendo Switch online is also expanding with Super NES games. This was previously rumoured and is now officially confirmed. 20 games are available tomorrow!
Daemon X MAchina is getting a demo with transferrable save data! Local wireless will be confirmed!
Jedi Outcast is also coming to Nintendo Switch, this Star wars game is coming September 24th.
Assassin’s Creed Rebel Collection is coming too!
More games are on the way, a trailer with Just Dance 2020, GRID Autosport, Farming Simulator 20, Ni no kuni, NBA 2K20, Call of Cthulhu, The Outer Worlds, Devil May Cry 2 and Vampyr
Next up is Animal Crossing with an update, presented by Tom Nook himself. Animal Crossing looks incredibly cute and shows many fun options like crafting and so on. Bells and miles are shown and activities are shown as well.
Animal Crossing will be out on Switch but sadly no date was given.
Last presentation of the day, none other than Xenoblade Chronicles, the definitive edition. One of the very best games on the WII is coming to switch in 2020! This is a very big title to be coming and with this we also say goodbye.
