Welcome to our review of the newest adult-oriented game on Nintendo Switch called Gun Gun Pixies.
Small disclaimer ahead of the review, this game is of a lewd nature and should be considered 18+ material as well as this review as I intend to write in detail what is up with it…
A Third Person Shooter with a Twist! Tiny but mighty alien shooters come to save their planet by invading a girl’s dormitory! Save the world! – When their home planet Pandemo comes under attack, Usamaeru and Kamerieru travel to earth to study humans and learn enough to save their home.
Oh No, Giant Girls Everywhere! – The Pixies infiltrate a girl’s dormitory where everything is giant, including the girls they’ve come to study! It’s a Third-Person Shooter… With A Twist! – Your weapons are loaded with Happy Bullets with positive effects! Use them to gather information from the girls. As you roam through the rooms you’ll come across strange objects (including squids!) and challenges as you play through the story.
Each character has a set weapon type, handgun or assault rifle! Choose wisely! Three Stage Types – “Search & Combat”, “Pacification” and “Bathing”, each with a different objective! Every stage has Sniper Vantage Points, where your bullets drastically increase in power!
The girls must NEVER find you! Make sure to watch the Sight and Listen gauges so they don’t catch you… Get new scopes, weapons, and costumes for the pixies to wear! Even down to the lingerie they wear!
Gun Gun Pixies is extremely lewd as I previously mentioned, fun to play, but can not take it too seriously as a real third-person shooter. Even though the action is legit, you are shooting the bullets at the female anatomy and scoring a point from the ass or the boobs, it does not matter as long as you keep hitting and make them happy.
Simplistic in idea, but not so easy in execution as the “enemies” if I may call them that, do walk around the place and as they discover you, you get a level over the screen and you can restart. I found it rather easy to avoid getting hit much and as long as you have some sort of vantage point nearby where you can recover, you are pretty much only worrying about having enough ammo.
The story itself is quite silly, but I guess that that was to be expected. Not trying to bash the game, but games of the more lewd genre never really have a very deep storyline and usually, they do border on cheap comedy. There were some aspects of this to be found here too, but nothing too obvious.
Graphically, well, I can honestly say the stills look fabulous and all the action, well, I purposely took the most normal looking ones to represent the game in my review. I tried, I promise!
I did notice a few typos along the way, but nothing too disturbing, these things happen in translations.
In conclusion, Gun Gun Pixies is a lewd game and it shows. I would compare it to the Gal Gun games, but there appears to be more depth in the story for Gun Gun Pixies. GG was mostly lewd oriented while Gun Gun Pixies at least does its best to actually provide a story. Sadly enough I was not “captivated” enough by this game to really call it a gem or so. I think it is a decent game, but nothing out of the ordinary. I guess it is nice to watch all the panties though?
