Today’s the presentation of games that will be published by Electronic Arts. We take a look at what’s coming and give you the freshly revealed updates!
Jedi Fallen Order – 15 minutes of gameplay!
It hasn’t been too long since the singleplayer game “Jedi Fallen Order” has been announced by Electronic Arts. Today they’re showing off a 15-minute gameplay video of the next big game within the Star Wars Universe. The action adventure game’s set post Episode 3 where almost every Jedi has been hunted down. The footage that’s been shown is about 3 hours in-game and shows off the new character in action. Your character “Kal” isn’t a Padawan anymore but still has a long way to go before he reaches the Jedi status. He’s on a mission to restart the Jedi Order. The mission is on Kashyyyk where the wookies have been enslaved by the Empire who’s basically letting them gather materials to build their next war machine. The gameplay shows off some of your Jedi skills like Force push, saber throw, slowing down time and bending the environment to your will to open up paths. You will have to face different types of enemies that can be defeated in different ways. There’s also a robotic companion that can eject STIM- packs, hack doors and help you in a lot of other ways. There will be a skill tree to boost your Force/ melee skills. Look at the gameplay yourself and let us know what you think!
APEX Legends – Some big updates!
They announced a new mode ” Legendary Hunt”. Legends can complete challenges to unlock exclusive cosmetics for their characters, gain double XP for their Battle Pass and get access to new skins in the in-game store. The mode will open up doors for those professional players. Each person who ends up in the top 5 will automatically be queued for Apex Elite Queue. There you will have the opportunity to test your skills against the most talented players. Additionally, you will have to complete challenges to gain exclusive weapon skins and even character skins. Until June 18th, the event will be open for everyone.
Apex Legends: season two, the first details… Season 2 will be called Battle charge and it’s coming on the second of July. You can expect a new legend, a new way to play the game, a map event, some Quality of life changes and a new weapon: L-star. It’s a Plasma Fueled EMG and it’s a care package experimental gold weapon. The game grants you a certain amount of ammo for this weapon, so be careful and don’t spill any bullets. A nice feature that his weapon has is the fact that it can open up doors which helps the player gain some new tactical advantages. The launch of season 2 will also add two new pop-ups and boost lower type weapons. What these pop-ups are, has yet to be unfolded however the executive producer already said that the “Mozambique” will be usable. We’ll have to wait until season 2 hits the shelves. Taking the community’s opinion into account, there will be some changes to the battle pass because a lot of players found it underwhelming. The pass will now be more challenged based instead of time-based which makes the leveling to one hundred fairly quickly. The battle pass will have new skins and crafting materials to craft a legendary weapon of your choosing. Season 2 will also have a rank mode to boost the competitive side of the game. The rank mode will have 6 tiers to grind through. Each tier will have a matchmaking option to put you against opponents of the same level.
There’s a tenth character coming with the second season and she’s called “Wattson”. Just like Overwatch, Respawn Entertainment announced the new character with an illustrated video. Wattson will have a major impact on the arena. Watson is more defensive instead of aggressive. Her abilities are all about setting a defensive perimeter on the battlefield. One of her abilities is setting up an electric perimeter (12 fences) that’s open to teammates but closed for opponents. Her fences also send out a ping when any enemy traverses through. Her ultimate ability is an interceptor that shoots down thrown grenades, arc stars, bombardments, … Her passive will also be boosted just like your tactical ability.

Battlefield V – New maps!
Battlefield V will have a couple of great updates like new maps and a new theatre of war. The first map they’ve shown: Marita. Ally forces are taking the last stand on Greece against the enemies. The new map focuses on all infantry troops with lots of key areas on lockdown where only proximity fights are allowed. The next map is called Al Sandan and takes place in North Africa. It’s a brand new map with harsh environments and full of enemy bases which are key if you want to be victorious. The maps are optimized for all kinds of warfares, so keep your eyes open on the horizon and the skies.
They’re also announcing a boost to the max rank, from rank 50 to rank 500. With each rank gained, you’ll receive some cool player tags set in the Battlefield universe to show off your skills. They will also add private servers to take the battle to a whole other level. They will also listen to the players’ feedback to improve the service of the new private servers. Battlefield will also have a new theatre of war mission called “Operation Underground”.

Another EA FIFA next year called FIFA 20
FIFA 20 will be a FIFA where soccer will be taken to the streets and you will be able to experience new features. There are three important components that make FIFA like FIFA: on the ball, off the ball and the ball itself. These 3 components will be improved with FIFA 20. New features like “authentic game flow” with one-on-one battles will engage the players more in getting that goal, the defensive capabilities of your teammates will be downgraded to push the player more into a defensive state. In other words, football will be more realistic and skill-focused. The dribbling player will have the ability to lure opponents in and use there own agility, speed, and skill to surpass the opponent. There will also be some more Quality of life changes.

Anthem update!
The Cataclysm is now live on the Public Test Server on PC and this allows players to give feedback in the hope to improve important gameplay elements. This will be needed as the game had one of the worst launches this year and it will take the strength of all the employees to turn this sinking ship around. They really want to build the game alongside the feedback of the community to create the best possible version of Anthem.
New gameplay of Madden 20
Alongside brand new gameplay footage of the next Madden, they also recapped five new features coming to Madden 20. Starting off with the career mode: you will be able to choose a quarterback and compete in college football playoffs to become a superstar. One of the features is the “Scenario Engine” that will give players “daily quest” or “challenges” that will help improve your character along the way. Madden 20 will also have run-pass-options and new formations to amp up their match performance. These playbooks will also evolve during the year to keep the game updated with the NFL. Other contents that will be brought to the table are ultimate missions. Thanks to an in-game guide, players will be able to search for components that their team needs to become the best. It’s a step-by-step feature that will really help the player out. Last but not least, are the x-factor abilities. These abilities will boost your character to a whole new level. These abilities are a real game changer.

The Sims 4- Next expansion!
The next expansion for The Sims 4 has been announced and it’s called “Island Living”. The Sims can dress up accordingly with the new island wares like accessories, hairstyles, and subtropic clothes. The Sims can also walk straight into the open water, swim and use aqua scooters. What can you actually do in this new landscape? You can chill by the water, explore different outposts and just enjoy the natural feel of the world. There’s also a downsize on living on an island… there are indeed active volcanoes, so your sims have to be careful not to get burned. You can also befriend some animals like a dolphin that can even learn tricks. A new job “conservationist” will also be added which allows your Sim to get the island fresh and clean. See to it that the fauna & flora of the island doesn’t go to waste. Another surprise was the addition of “becoming a mermaid”. Being a mermaid has some benefits. A mermaid has special powers that still have to be discovered. So keep an eye on that one! The next game pack was also announced called “Realm of magic”. Further information will have to wait until the end of the year.
