Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the amazing fighter game for the Nintendo Switch will have some extra characters to choose from. The characters come straight out of popular Nintendo franchises. Can you guess whom?
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will expand its character roster with a few popular gaming characters from Castlevania, Monster Hunter, and even Donkey Kong. Nintendo announced that Simon and Richter Belmont from Castlevania’s universe will be implemented into the roster for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Another warrior that will be added to the roster, is King K. Rool from Donkey Kong.
Richter Belmont will use his whip and special attacks, that’ll be known from the Castlevania series, to defend himself against his opponents like the axe, holy water and Grand Cross for his ultimate Smash. His stage is the dark and gruesome Dracula’s Castle where candles will act as little treasures to get some battle items. All the characters will also be able to use Alucard, the son of Dracula, as an Assist Trophy. He will give you a hand with your foes transforming into a bat or even turn into smoke to dodge incoming attacks. Richter Belmont will also appear as an echo fighter. Different tracks of the Castlevania will also be added to the game.
King K. Rool, the villain from Donkey Kong, will use his crown as a boomerang and a blunderbuss kind of weapon that’ll shoot cannonballs at your foes.
The developers also added a “character” for the first time, that will act as a boss and assist trophy as well, namely Rathalos. A fiercely flying giant from the Monster Hunter’s franchise.
Another lovely surprise is the fact that Dark Samus and Chrom will also appear in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as Echo fighters. Dracula will also appear as a boss.
The game will launch on the 7th of December for the Nintendo Switch.
